Fr. Mathew Elavunkal M.S.T
Fr. Mathew (Baby) was born on 24th of November 1955, as the son of Mathai and Mariyamma of Elavunkal family. After schooling from Vayala and Kadaplamattam, in 1972, he started his missionary training from St. Thomas Missionary Society, Bharananganam. He was ordained on 18th December 1982, and became a priest. He has BA and B.Tech degrees. He has served as vicar in Kuttarappadi and Sheeradi parishes of Balthangadi diocese. From 1985 to 2008, he served in the missionary works of Mandya. From 2008, he has been working as the General Counselor for M.S.T congregation in Deepthi Bhavan, Melambara.
