Fr. Jose Elavunkal (Tespur)
Fr. Jose was born on 24th December 1960, as the son of Thomas and Eliyamma of Elavunkal family. He completed his schooling from Vayala and Kadaplamattam. In 1977 he joined the seminary as a priesthood aspirant for Tespur diocese in Assam.He was ordained by Bishop Mar Joseph Pallikkaprambil on 8th May 1989. He completed his degree studies from Shillong. He has served as a principal of various schools, as vicar of several parishes in the diocese of Tespur. He now serves as the vicar and school principal in Dekhiyajuli parish.
